HimCare a boon for people of Himachal

For providing the cashless treatment coverage, the State Government has implemented Himachal Health Care Scheme (HIMCARE). Himachal Pradesh has accomplished this ambitious plan of implementing a digitalized health care programme successfully. The success of this scheme is discernible as 96382 people have received free medical treatment facilities.

The main objective of this ambitious scheme launched by the state government is to build a healthy India and this can be achieved only when the citizens of the country are healthy. It has been 19 months since the Him Care scheme was launched in the state, and on this occasion, the Health Department is inviting suggestions from the beneficiaries of the Himcare scheme and the general public on various topics. How was the experience of people from making Himcare cards to using them and if there is any scope of improvement in the scheme that needs to be brought in the department's attention?
